The Arts & Business Council is excited to present Excel for Artists with Kate Laurel Burgess-Mac Intosh. This two-hour workshop will take place on August 16th, from 1pm-3pm, at the A&BC’s office in Midway Studios, 15 Channel Street, Boston. During the workshop you will learn how to use Microsoft Excel software (also applicable to Apple's "Numbers" program) to create a digital archive of your contacts; how to merge your contact lists to create mailing labels for postcards and invitations; the process of creating an inventory of your works – completed, in progress, and sold; a quick-reference guide for pricing your work; and simple bookkeeping tasks in Excel, such as organizing annual expenses. Read More | Sign Up Now

In conjunction with the 20th Annual Juried Exhibition at the Griffin Museum, named in honor of Peter Urban, a celebrated, Boston-based photographer who passed away in 2009 after a long battle with cancer, the A&BC and the Griffin are collaborating on a series of workshops designed to advance the career of fine art and commercial photographers.
