Our Business on Board (BOB) training is for individuals looking to build on core leadership skills and expand on professional development opportunities while using their talent to help organizations in need.
BOB is a series of informative sessions presented in a one-day or multiple-day format. The program focuses on primary aspects of board stewardship including:
Our speakers are experts in their fields and deliver engaging, interesting sessions whether you are new to board service or a seasoned board member. Those participants who attend the program and are currently serving on a board find the sessions elevate their knowledge. For those who are ready to begin board service, we work with you to help place you on a board of directors based on your interests and skills.
Though our BOB program, we have trained and placed over 350 business executives on not for profit boards in the greater Boston area. Survey results from over 200 participants highly rate the program and have recommended the training to their colleagues.
Many individuals and business professionals serve on the boards of or volunteer with hundreds of Boston-area not for profit organizations, and many more organizations are in need of your services. Business skills, enthusiasm, resources, and the desire to make a positive difference can have a huge impact on any not for profit organization.
