Hope manages the day-to-day workings of Western Avenue’s community of 350+ creatives as well as developing and supporting connections and programs geared toward the development and growth of the artist community. Her focus is on maintaining Western Avenue as a safe, affordable, and equitable home for artists.
Hope holds a BFA in photography from Universty of the Arts in Philadelphia, and has been a practicing artist for over 20 years. She now works from her studio in Lowell at Western Avenue. During her career supporting art and artists has always been important to Hope. She co-founded Second Saturdays Art Crawl in Dixon, IL, founded and directed the Artist in Residence Program at Christ Church Cathedral in Eau Claire, WI, and has been a contributing writer for the arts and culture magazine Volume One.
Whether as an artist, a mother, a gardener, or the many other things that she gives her time to, Hope loves to bring care and attention to the world around her.
