Glass Fellowship
The Linda Lichtman Glass Fellowship is a once in a lifetime opportunity being offered to a select group of accomplished glass artists in the Boston area.
The artists chosen for this fellowship will be given unlimited use of Linda Lichtman’s large and bright Somerville studio for a year, as well as her enormous supply of glass materials and equipment, including a working kiln.
Applicants will need to demonstrate a high level of excellence and potential in their specialty, as well as an unqualified passion and commitment to making meaningful art. Further, the Fellowship seeks individuals at a stage in their careers where they are clearly ready for such an opportunity, allowing them to achieve in a way that would not otherwise be possible.
Linda often struggled to find the means to survive as an artist. Our hope is that the Linda Lichtman Fellowship will serve as a template for both helping emerging artists achieve their dreams, and for preserving the legacy of local artists who spent their lives enriching us all.
We thank you for supporting this fellowship!
