John Korbas
Legal Services Program Coordinator

John is the Legal Programs Coordinator here at the Arts & Business Council of Greater Boston.  As a current Resident Artist of Midway Artist Studios, and with over a decade of prior experience at some of the most prestigious law firms in the Boston area, John takes great pride in helping artists and inventors identify the legal resources that are available to them.  Utilizing his own experience filing Trademarks and Copyrights for his own artwork, John also provides invaluable insight to help guide creatives through these processes, as well as many other legal issues that can arise in the course of pursuing one’s creative goals.

John is an accomplished musician, visual artist and production artist as well as creative consultant for local aspiring artists.  He has taught the ICA’s Advanced Music Production (AMP) class and has had his own artwork displayed at numerous juried exhibits.  He has performed at and worked with many of the creative venues in Boston and the surrounding area.  He is a graduate of Suffolk University with a Bachelors in Political Science.
