Understanding and implementing accounting standards can be complex, time-consuming, and often requires requisite skills and expertise not found on the internal finance team. Amanda Pelcher, CPA, Manager of AAFCPAs offers a dynamic presentation addressing questions such as what are the areas of focus; how to digest the information within those financial statements to assess the financial health of the organization; how well  philanthropic dollars are being utilized (i.e. how much is invested in program versus overhead) and how to look for liquidity.
