Driven by numerous unpaid volunteers, Boston Hassle Org is a collectively run music and arts organization that aims to foster the independent music, art, and film community in the greater Boston area through the creation of events, publications, and spaces.

In addition to The Boston Hassle website, we also host Boston Hassle Shows (and festivals) and a bi-monthly market Boston Hassle Flea. We have a short-term goal of opening our own physical community space/venue, please get in touch if you are interested in helping with this effort. We serve as a platform for emerging, underrepresented & boundary pushing local artists of all kinds. Our commitment to an inclusive grassroots community means that we must actively work to amplify the voices of and make our spaces comfortable and accessible for individuals marginalized by the mainstream culture. We actively oppose all forms of discrimination and oppression and continuously work to keep our spaces free of them by holding those in our spaces accountable for their behavior. Recognizing the constant change in social politics and culture, it is our goal to continuously educate ourselves, our audience, and the artists we work with to help create and maintain these safer spaces.
