Sophia Berkofsky
Data and Development Specialist

Sophia received her Bachelor of Science in Architecture & English from Northeastern University in 2022, focusing on art and architectural writing, spatial and climate justice. During her studies, she was able to contribute to Data Humanism by Design Group’s Black Architects Archive as a research fellow.

Sophia spent the last two years working with The Guild of Boston Artists, first as gallery intern and then as Assistant to the Director. Sophia is proud to continue her work in non-profit arts administration with the A&BC, helping to bring accessible, equitable arts programs to Boston and beyond. Outside of her professional life, Sophia is an avid oil painter, dedicating her free time to making, engaging with, and reading about art.

Sophia is passionate about understanding and building better-connecting relationships between artists, art, and communities.
