Jordan Celeste Pettis – violinist
Born and raised in Denver, Colorado, Jordan Celeste Pettis has had a deep love for music and
performance since her childhood. Jordan received her Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance
with a minor in voice performance from Illinois Wesleyan University. While at Illinois Wesleyan,
Jordan began managing her quartet and a capella group introducing her to the business side of
the music industry. In 2013, Jordan moved to Boston to study Jazz Voice and Jazz Violin at the
New England Conservatory of Music- receiving a Certificate of Jazz Performance in January of
2015. Since her arrival in Boston, Jordan has had the opportunity to perform for Gospel Night
with the Boston Pops, be a featured soloist for several churches, manage four artists in the
Boston area, and become a member of the Ill-Harmonic Orchestra which has taken her to the
Tobin Center, the Kennedy Center, and Carnegie Hall. As a member of the Ill-Harmonic
Orchestra, Jordan plays violin, provides background vocals, and arragnes music for the group.
Jordan is looking forward to taking her music career to the next level as a Creative Entrepreneur
Fellow.
