Thank You Spring 2025 Interns!

As the semester comes to an end, we are pleased to share the 2025 Spring Arts Administration and Art Law interns for A&BC! Our internship program is structured to provide a comprehensive experience in the fields of arts and non-profit sectors, facilitating professional growth and hands-on learning. Our interns have demonstrated a commendable dedication to the arts and a strong inclination towards contributing to the creative community. Their involvement spans critical areas such as art administration and the legal aspects of art, where their contributions are anticipated to be highly valuable. Let’s give a big round of applause to our outgoing interns!

Art Law Interns

Lea Washington (she/her)

Growing up in Ohio and Indiana, Lea came from a family of gospel singers. She is a singer and multi-instrumentalist. Lea graduated from Berklee College of Music, summa cum laude, and majored in writing & production. During college, Lea worked as a student legal adviser at The Recording Artists Project at Harvard Law School. This experience inspired her to go to law school and help bridge the gap of access to legal information that exists for creators. Lea wants to be a “useful lawyer”, and be able to give clients a variety of assistance. She currently works at the Harvard Legal Aid Bureau and gives pro bono assistance to clients with housing, family, wage, and employment law issues. When she graduates from Harvard, Lea plans to continue her career as an artist and performer, while starting her own firm to represent creatives everywhere. Lea is a foodie, who loves travel, Star Wars, superheroes, and sci-fi.

Joanna Li (she/her)

Joanna is a third-year law student at Boston College Law School. She received her B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh, where she majored in Communication: Rhetoric. Upon graduation, she plans to pursue a transactional practice with focuses on intellectual property and corporate law. In her free time, Joanna enjoys trying new restaurants, watching movies, and going to SoulCycle.

Art Administration Interns

Ella Clare Potter  (she/her)

Ella is a current student at Simmons University in her junior year majoring in Art Administration and History. She is returning from a Study Abroad semester in London where she studied at the University of Roehampton. Ella grew up on the South Shore of Massachusetts and is grateful that her work throughout the internship will benefit the community she grew up in.

She got her start working for her hometown library and is currently working at Simmons University Beatley Library. Her experience with libraries grew her passion for accessibility of information, resources, and arts for all. With this internship, Ella hopes to help support the creative community and those interested in getting involved in the community.  An avid museum and gallery goer, Ella enjoys exploring what Boston and other towns have to offer. In her free time, Ella enjoys baking, taking walks, and hanging out with those close to her.

Teresa Weng (she/her)

Teresa is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree at Boston University, with a strong focus on the arts and arts administration. During her internship at an art gallery, Teresa gained in-depth knowledge of gallery operations, which inspired her interest in arts administration. This passion led her to join the Arts & Business Council program, where she is further developing her skills and expertise in the field. In her free time, Teresa enjoys baking and cooking, listening to music and watching movies.
